To Change the World, Start With the Man in the Mirror

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man's Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya' Know
'Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That's Why I Want You To
Know

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change

I've Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It's Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They're Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody's Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya' See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That's Why I'm Starting With
Me

That's the lyrics of 'Man in the Mirror' by Michael Jackson, which is not very complex to understand like those of Queen, yet it contains meaningful, motivational and inspirational lyrics.

In my very own perspective, the song implies that if we expect the world, or perhaps, other people to change, we firstly ought to change the selfish big man in the mirror a.k.a ourselves.

The point of this song is clearly stated in the lyrics itself, which is
"...If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change.."

Football Transfer Fee

The summer football transfer window could've been one of the most memorable, as the new transfer value record was set, and the previous record by Zinedine Zidane (£ 45mil) was smashed thrice this summer. Firstly by Kaka, who moved from AC Milan to Real Madrid (£56mil), then by Cristiano Ronaldo, from Man United to Real Madrid (again) (£80mil), which is also the current highest transfer fee, and the latest one was Zlatan Ibrahimovic, from Inter Milan to Barcelona (£60mil)

Manchester City is also spending spree, started from July 2008, and still going on. They've bought players such as Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Carlos Tevez, etc. Yeah,, they might not set the record transfer fee, but collectively they've spent such a great deal.
In total, Real Madrid spent more than £200 mil. Asswhoopin'

This extravagantly spent transfer fee has messed up the players' transfer window, as some players' values are unreasonably high, way higher than they believed they are worth.

List of the current top 5 most expensive players

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo £80mil
  2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic £60mil
  3. Kaka £56mil
  4. Zinedine Zidane £45mil
  5. Luis Figo £37mil
